In 2008 I went to Japan, 30 days, I visited some friends, stayed with them for some days, then I went around Japan by myself, alone. Too many things happened during that time, very good moments and a lot of solitude.

Okey, so attending a Chinese show looks normal, but it isnt, this schools is a "Vocational school" not a university, it is said to be a place you go when you dont have money or merits to enter the university, so humble people go there, then you see them in the daily life, and they stop looking like a mass group of Chinese but as a lot of single individuals.

If you watch the home video I took you will see their individual faces and the contrast it makes with looking at them from far.

What I mean if people usually refers to Chinese as that, Chinese this, Chinese that.. but when you get to know some of them, when they even become your friends, you start noticing they are just like me, people with dreams, hope, suffering, happiness, jokes, etc. The cultural differences are enormous, sometimes I complain, criticize or dont understand the culture, but it all makes ME the alien one, not them. All this traveling is good for learning, comparing, improving and changing prejudges.

Anyway, the show was great. I didn't understand who won, also, there was a Japanese rising sun propaganda poster in the end, would like to know what is says, Chinese dont forget what they did during WW2, but they look to be very friendly to think in a aggressive way, unless somebody organize them as good as they were in this song contest...

Iceland! I always dreamed with it, so I went, it wasnt easy, it wasnt short. It was sublime and a strange bizare volcanica paradise.

We took a bus from China to Mongolia, in the border, I had to issue a Visa because Colombia is one of the few countries that need it. In the queue, I talked to some outer-Mongolian women.

In 2008 and 2009, I went to ride Peru. I stayed 2 months in Lima. Skateparks are very good there, thanks to the hard work of Peruvian riders. I had a very nice time in Peru.

In November 2013, the biggest typhoon in modern history hit The Philippines, 7000 people died and many lost their homes. I went to Bantayan island on January 2014 to help YPDR ONG rebuild the islands insfrastructure, I found 24 foundation ONG too and many happy local people. This short clip shows some of the work we did there.
